Separate crashes fatal to Hugo, Kellyville motorists

By Staff Reports - 11/7/2009

A Kellyville woman was killed Thursday evening in a Creek County collision, and a Hugo man died Friday when his motorcycle collided with a van in Choctaw County.

Dead are Bobbie Wallace, 39, and Tommy Harrimon, 33.

Wallace was riding in a 1993 Volvo driven by Pat Hedges, 43, of Kellyville when the Creek County crash occurred Thursday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Hedges veered into the oncoming lane on Oklahoma 66 just west of 417th West Avenue near Bristow about 7:15 p.m., and the car was hit by a 2000 Pontiac driven by Jamie Ray, 18, of Stroud, troopers said.

A third car then crashed into Ray's Pontiac.

Wallace died at the scene, troopers said.

Harrimon was killed when his 2007 Harley-Davidson crashed into a 1993 Plymouth Voyager that pulled onto U.S. 275 in front of him about 1:15 p.m. Friday, the patrol reported.

The van, driven by Jesse Brown, 21, of Fort Towson pulled out from a stop sign into the path of Harrimon's motorcycle, which struck the van in the driver's side door, troopers said.

Brown was treated at a Paris, Texas, hospital and released.

Harrimon was not wearing a helmet, troopers reported.
