Good one Bruce

The Republicans never thought he could walk on water. "Jesus Was A Community Organizer, Pontius Pilate Was A Governor" were the words written on T-shirts worn by some Democrats not Republicans.

"...Most Oklahomans knew he couldn't walk on water. ..." True, my view, BUT Obama didn't know that. lol
KYCane, Crestwood (11/5/2009 7:07:07 AM)
He can use those ears like oars, though.
my view, Sand Springs (11/5/2009 9:39:18 AM)
Most Oklahomans knew he couldn't walk on water.

Well drawn, Bruce. Like Drachir pointed out, he's only human.

Good One Bruce. obama and the demoncrats are starting to realize that you have to work to make promises come true. Thats the downfall of tat party. Too many promises to too may special intrest groups and nothing gets done. And obama watches babsketball games and documentaries about himself instead of addressing the issues and working on the problems. Like the troop situation in Afghanistan. Of course the liberals are all downplaying the election results and obams's unwillingness to act. Several elections and several new Republican leaders. Change we can believe in!!!!
ajohnb, Jenks (11/5/2009 12:20:35 PM)
tat= that intrest = interest babsketball = basketball obams's = obama's I caught the misspellings before the liberals try to blame that on Bush, too. My spellchecker went shopping today. Rats.

This is just the beginning of that "Change" we on the right have been waiting for.

Our president and savior will calm the raging seas, heal the sick, raise the dead, and feed all of us with just a few fish and a few loaves of bread.

Good one, Mr. Plante. Impatient Americans expect him to walk on water, but any level-headed realist will realize he's only human. Obama just has so many superhuman feats to accomplish. Give him a break, folks.
Isaac Parker, Tulsa (11/5/2009 6:07:37 AM)
Looks like the rock star has his "floaties" on! He'll need 'em.
mr.peabody, country side oklahoma (11/5/2009 8:20:33 AM)
That's because he has spent his political capitol like water. He better start swimming toward the middle or he's going to sink. Looks like a donkey caught in the headlights. LMAO
mr.peabody, country side oklahoma (11/5/2009 11:39:56 AM)
Bill Owens(NY 23) is just another dino. Congragulations on another Blue Dog. LOL
mr.peabody, country side oklahoma (11/5/2009 5:51:19 PM)
RGM- You laid out some good points. Politics are local.I have a new County Commissioner, and he is doing a bang up job on these old beat up roads I live on. He's a Democrat, but up the ticket he probably votes alot like I do. I voted for him because he lives on my road. lol. The other guy (republican) lives in town.
mr.peabody, country side oklahoma (11/5/2009 9:14:40 PM)
Companion- I get your frustration, if you really want to know how this happened. Rohm Emanual recruited alot of "democrats' to run in otherwise conservative districts. Only thing he cared about is that they had a D beside thier name. He figured if they could get a majority, that that was all that mattered. Now you have a majority but you don't have a liberal majority. He believed he could force them to go along with the liberal leadership but it appears by all the divisions that it has created more trouble than it's worth. Liberals don't want dinos and conservatives don't want rinos.
mr.peabody, country side oklahoma (11/5/2009 10:22:31 PM)
Companion- the republicans have a plan that actually will cut the cost of premiums for families. The CBO scored it at about 69 billion compared to well over a trillion on Pelosi's plan. That debt will ruin us long before healthcare does. What good is "saving" healthcare if you don't even have a currancy. It's idiotic!

The left sees Obama as being too far right and the right sees Obama as being too far left. The center of politics is relative. As for the left, he[Obama] will "never" be far left enough, and the election of Obama that the democrats, liberals, moderates and some republicans voted on him to do the agenda of the left isn't happening due mainly too blue dog democrats not adhering to democratic principles. Blue dog democrats, in my opinion, are traitors to their party and or are republicans that run on the democratic ticket of their state. And the Senate "is" very miss representative of this country. Most of the population in this country is represented by only a few Senators. The House being more balanced, more representative of their constituents. Until the Senate is balanced, the legislation coming out of there is "not" representative of the U.S. population as a whole. Senators from unpopulated areas of the country holds more power then they should. The founding fathers screwed up.

I'm happy "enough" that Owens don't have a (R) after his name. Obama was elected by the populist to try and carry out his campaign pledges. And to stop the neo-con agenda. Well, he's accomplished one...getting the neo-cons out of office. And of course, the collapse of the financial markets was on Dubya's watch...the last couple of months in office. And the healthcare issue. As I see it, if it's not passed by Congress with a public option, "WE" all gonna suffer eventually...yeah , both you and I. It's is predicted by economists pundits. Just read an article on it on the internet and it seems inevitable. Another capitalistic calamity, I suppose! Taxpayers have deep pockets. We'll bail the health care insurance industry out...only it "might" be a conservative this time in the office.
Companion, Sperry (11/5/2009 9:06:43 PM)
Democrats elected in Oklahoma are blue dog democrats. Not much help for the left at all. Real elected lefties are mostly coastal areas of the U.S.
Companion, Sperry (11/5/2009 10:16:21 PM)
The right wingnuts if they get their way will find themselves bailing out the healthcare industry one day. They're getting the profits before it collapses, similar too Wall Street strategy. The right wingnuts are so worried about the government takeover scenario[a red herring] that they don't see the real threat coming from the health care insurance industry. The right wingnuts with Michele Bachmann at the helm don't have a clue as too what's really happening with the health care insurance industry. Wait until it hits home!
Barleybaby, Tulsa (11/5/2009 7:20:24 AM)
Fist bump, Bruce.
