Letter to the editor: Two too big for Tulsa

By Jackson E. Lay, Tulsa - 11/4/2009

I suppose there are many senior coffee groups discussing the upcoming mayoral election on Tuesday. Our group has come to the conclusion the two major candidates are much too far advanced in politics to be suitable to hold a local office. By their actions, reputations and campaign ethics, they are ready to take on Washington, D.C.

We would like to invite you to join us and elect a statesman for mayor of Tulsa this year, Mark Perkins.

Letters to the editor are encouraged. Each letter must be signed and include an address and a telephone number where the writer can be reached during business hours. Addresses and phone numbers will not be published. Letters should be a maximum of 250 words to be considered for publication and may be edited for length, style and grammar. Letters should be addressed to Letters to the Editor, Tulsa World, Box 1770, Tulsa, Okla., 74102, or send e-mail to letters@tulsaworld.com.

"With all that mud slinging going on between Adelson and Bartlett....why are they not throwing any at Perkins" ??? I repeat..."when you get near a den of snakes and some are rattling and spewing venom out....stay away from the ones doing so or you might get bit" !! Make Your Mark for Mark !!
