I don't need Nina and her crystal ball. Things are looking up for the Republican party.

I just heard Pat Campbell say that the Republican Party is learning that it is going to either win with conservatives or lose without them. I hope he is right about it learning.

FS, I didn't mean to come across as sounding sold on the Republican Party. I will vote for candidates who are Democrat or Independent when the Republican isn't conservative. In the recent past I have read posts on this site that suggested the Republican Party is finished. I suppose that is what I am responding to more than anything else. In defense of voting Republican though I have to ask who do you suppose would have been placed on the Supreme Court instead of Sam Alito and John Roberts had Al Gore been elected?

Bet you're chocking on your pink KoolAid there Plante. Your Idol is going down in 2012. A one trick pony.

The White House is crawling with worry at this moment. They'll get their wake up call in November 2010 that's for sure. Phoenix, Glenn Beck is a Fox commentary show it's not moving anywhere. Your joke fell flat. The left can only lie so long before people wise up.

my view, Sand Springs (11/4/2009 10:18:38 AM)
If these two elections had gone the other way the left would be crowing about it for months. Now their only left with trying to lessen the impact.

I think Chris Matthews has lost that "tingly feeling".

mongo76, (11/4/2009 11:38:43 AM)
beau3985 But we all know Keith Olbermann still gets that "thrill up his leg" though! Listening to him last night sounds like something runnin' down his leg since he was PO'ed.

mongo76, (11/4/2009 2:06:27 PM)
Ignatz, Aaahhh, the Hitler card! What Hitler-like policies that you "fear" & what policies that would harm our country are Beck, Limbaugh & Fox promoting? Wow! Real "intelligent" comment on the remedial english comment. What a pile of "bovine scitology". Hope mongo speld bovine scitology rite. mongo have to go to english class again to be nteligent so mongo can talk online.

Funny one, Bruce! Why do these threads always get so nasty around elections? Politics isn't everything people. I congratulate those who won. May God help all our elected officials to serve the people instead of their wallets.

It's funny to hear the liberals whine and cry about Beck. They hate it that he has opened the curtains to the corruption and anti-American thought in the Dear Leader's administration. Libbies ... last night was just the beginning. You may want to stock up on an emergency supply of panties for the 2010 elections.

Ignatz ... Geez .. what a maroon

Michael Phillips, Tulsa (11/4/2009 6:28:32 AM) I don't need Nina and her crystal ball. Things are looking up for the Republican party. ________________________ Agreed, Michael, but it's not because of the Republican philosphy - it's because O'Bummer and company sucks so greatly. Democrats (actually Social Democrats) are for handouts, but so are the Republicans, but only for their high-rolling friends as we saw during the 8 years before O'Bummer got into office. Consequently, when the pendulum did swing, it went way too far due to the discontent built up in those who aren't fortunate enough to buy their way through life - ie, born with the proverbial silver spoon in their posterior. Plain and simple - O'Bummer won the election because the majority realized they couldn't take a chance on another 4 years or more of the Bush/Republican policies that took aim squarely at the heart of the middle class, not because he and his tag-alongs had anything of substance to offer. The Democrats, as I said, have become socialists in the extreme, and the present Republican Party leans heavily towards Fascism. Being Independent, I have no use for either party as they are and wish all of them could be replaced at the same time but unfortunately, the Constitution prevents this. At the national level, I believe there is no difference in the two major parties, rather, only their veneer. Both have only the control and subjugation of the population in mind.

It is the party of big business, big payoffs, and patriotism. This is how it qualifies as fascist. With the Democrats giving away the farm, and the Republicans (not conservatives) trying to marginalize the majority, would it really matter who got into the court? Eventually, the result will be the same. Watching all this really gags me as I took an oath years ago to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, both foreign and domestic." If the federal government we have now and had for the 8 years preceding it do not qualify as domestic enemies, then my understanding of the language is horribly flawed.

Regardless of interpretation, it's still a great cartoon.

When the libs have no actual argument, they resort to insults & picking on typos. :-)

Fox may lean to the left a little, but, thank GOd for them and for Beck, Hannity and Oreilly. I am so glad they are exercising "our right" to freeom of speech ! I COULD stand for Glenn to be a little less dramatic and childish acting at times. Even though Oreilly is the most egotistical and arrogant person I've ever seen, even HE is helping maintain that freedom for us all. Hannity...No doubt about which side of the fence he is on huh ? But, at least he and all the others are not afraid to "take a stand" against the establishment ! Do wish they had a little time allocated where they could televise and point out some of the good things that are happening in America. Get's pretty depressing when ALL you hear is bad or negative programming. And, why don't they give Dick Morris, Ann Coulter, Newt Gingrich and Karl Rove a break, let them sell their books with Barnes & Noble or Amazon for awhile and put some "real people, from the real world on there" ??? Don't they get the message that "reality is what is selling now" ??? Fox would certianly be more "fair and balanced" if they DID have some good, positive programming rather than a steady diet of depressing, agressive, hateful, rhetorical dialogue ! Veterans Day is comming up next week. Get some Veterans from past wars to come in and interview them with their opinions of the present MIdeast wars. Example: I am a Vietnam vet and I think we have history repeating itself now...this will end the way Vietnam did !! Just glad our troops in the Mideast are getting more support and not being spit on when they come home ! Sure do hate to see so many young (19 to 29 olds) getting killed, losing limbs or being maimed. The anniversary of Pearl Harbor is comming up December 7th...get some WW TWO vets in there, maybe even some who were at Pearl Harbor !! Come on Fox...can't you find anything good to talk about in America ??? Okey Dokey ???

Bruce- This speaks volumes about the scientific method.

Companion, Sperry (11/4/2009 9:14:58 AM)
The exit polls in Virginia and New Jersey says it all. Between 55% to 60 % of the voters said Obama had "NOTHING" to do with their vote. "NOT A REFERENDUM"! DUH
