Female victim of Lawton fire identified
By AP Wire Services - 11/4/2009
LAWTON, Okla. — The state medical examiner has identified a woman who died in a fire in Lawton.
Spokeswoman Cherokee Ballard says the body of Linda Patterson was identified through X-rays from her medical records. The cause and manner of death are still pending.
The body of a man who died in the same fire has not been identified although authorities in Lawton say it's believed to be Patterson's 80-year-old husband — Charles Patterson.
Assistant Lawton Fire Marshal Tim Taylor says the Friday morning fire appears to be accidental and started in the bedroom — but the exact cause is still under investigation.

Very sad,....my prayers for the family. I wonder if Lawton has had budget cuts to public safety positions? Anyone from Lawton heard?

I don't know Corvetteguy. Lawton is the armpit of the state. Mix the military base, gangs from both minorities, and people with IQ's of a fence post; and that's Lawton.
