I laughed out loud when I seen this. Yeah right, like they'll go elsewhere if they don't get their bonuses.

This has to be the worst cartoon you have ever done! Are you really that hard up for material? Wal-Mart? Oh that's right your a super lib you hate everything truely American! You are such a sad person!

One of my favorite parts of "Employee of the Month" is the scene in the shopping club where the regional manager walks in and greets the old man, as per obligatory at all such places. The regional manager says to the store manager, "Get an older man for the front entrance." HA!

"...there's a lot of other jobs out there." You will probably need only TWO of them.

dappie gets my vote on this one. Pay us back first and then the fat cat can have another latte.

Cityboy, (10/20/2009 3:03:24 AM) "Wal-Mart? Oh that's right your a super lib you hate everything truely American!" If Wal-Mart is "truely American", why is it so hard to find anything "made in America" there? Has anyone found ANYTHING made in America there in recent years?

justiceawaits, Claremore (10/20/2009 9:33:37 AM)
I share the same thoughts. These wall street fat cats getting paid millions for running a company into the groud is just plain wrong. These punks should not get squat unless the company they are running turns a proffit.

Daven, Tulsa (10/20/2009 9:56:08 AM)
dappie, that would be like the bank that holds your car or home loan saying to pay them back before you buy xmas gifts this year. I dont agree with the bonuses and things like that to a degree. Should be just like anything else. Better profits deserve rewards. No profits or losses deserves your job. But of course thats in a perfect world. ha ha ha

Made in America at Walmart? Not anymore. Poor Sam Walton is turning in his grave over what his company has become. Something like 13% of imports from China go straight to Walmart shelves, where housewives snap them up for discount prices. I love the thought of Wall Street fat cats greeting the people who now have to shop for discounts because they lost their 401(k)! That's karma for you!

Oldfatdude, nice. You beat me to it. Haha Folks, remember to neuter your fat cats. We need to keep their population under control.

I actually saw an article not long ago (don't remember the source) about a person that was formerly on Wall Street that was now working in a fast food chain. Like we were supposed to feel sorry for that person. I'm sorry, you were making all that money and you didn't prepare for the future, welcome to the real world where the rest of the Earth resides. He was losing his family because they couldn't maintain the lifestyle they were used to. Apparently his wife was even more greedy than he was! I think Wal-Mart greeter may be too complex a job for these people. I don't think there's much work they could actually do. Maybe punching bag, tree or rock would be more in line with their skills!

It still isn't funny Plante. Don't quit your day job.

Bruce you certainly hit this on the nailhead again.

WhoseLeft, Tulsa (10/20/2009 12:00:10 PM)
Very funny. Although it is hard to laugh about the disastrous bonuses. Sigh: Godless capitalists.

okie ridgerunner, Small Country Town State Line (10/20/2009 12:45:17 PM)
Good one Bruce. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

Wal Mart sells brand name goods for substantially less than anyone else because they buy in volume. If a manufacturer or a wholesaler can sell these goods to Wal Mart at a profit, and Wal Mart can, in turn, sell the goods to the consumer at a profit, it occurs to me that it's the manufactuer and the wholesaler who should be painted with the Fat Cat brush, not Wal Mart. How folks who like Wal Mart's prices can find enjoyment in Plante's cartoon is a mystery to me.

Bluebell, Tulsa (10/20/2009 1:40:47 PM)
Is there a Wal-Mart in D.C.Bet bummer & michele should go shopping there. After all, he owes China a lot of money.
