I wonder if Inhofe or Coburn ever thought of a short balloon ride? Place these guys on a IIP, Idiot Impeachment in Process. Tangent over, SOOOOO correct Oink-myster 'where is the Bush tag?' This deficeit wasn't born yesterday!
ajohnb, Jenks (10/18/2009 9:52:31 AM)

Pigster, Do you want your name on that balloon ?...lol I like the cartoon, just wondering if the high cost of those planes 2 looking charge US that huge amount every time they fly??? Or is it only when they are looking for a child? I was wondering how all of the kooks would turn this around to the President...it took a little time.lol It only gets better and more weird!

The picture says it all. Good one Bruce.

Obviously Friday's "Balloon Boy" caper, the $1.4 Trillion deficit, and the 2nd Stimulus are all George Bush's fault.
WhoseLeft, Tulsa (10/18/2009 1:10:19 PM)
The OMB projected the deficit of the Bush administration policies at 1.2 trillion, and the new OMB project is 1.4 trillion. It's a big shiny, UFO, destraction for what needs to happen now. An additional stimulus should include help for SMALL BUSINESSES (the US largest employer is small business) and a serious jobs program. Deferred maintenance has brought the infrastructure into the condition we saw in the soviet state before it fell. Bridges are falling down, falling down. The empire crumbles. Our mis-directed largess toward the military industrial complex has drained the life out of our domestic realm.
IrishQuaker, Tulsa (10/18/2009 2:05:18 PM)
Royce, Bush was largely responsible for the deficit projection. The TARP bailout was a big part of it, that and a voluntary war that was totally mis-directed. There were no WMD, we did not create a democracy in the middle east, we did not make ourselves more safe. The projected cost of Iraqi Freedom is 3 trillion and now more than four thousand US lives.
Royce, Tulsa (10/18/2009 2:20:37 PM)
IrishQuaker writes: "Royce, Bush was largely responsible for the deficit projection." Of course. That's what I said. He's also responsible for Stimulus II and the Balloon Boy incident. Can't you read, or were you educated in an Oklahoma Public School?
Laurel & Hardy, Another Fine Mess (10/18/2009 3:54:19 PM)
This one is funny.
Loki, Broken Arrow (10/18/2009 4:23:32 PM)
Conservatives' new-found passion about deficits was absent during the previous administration as it squandered its inherited budget surplus. Why are they howling now? They are out of power. This is a continuation of the Rove/Bush "say anything" tactics. Two points: Two unfunded wars, and unfunded prescription drug benefit for Medicare. That is the record. GOP: the party of NO answers.
okie ridgerunner, Small Country Town State Line (10/18/2009 6:23:19 PM)
God one Bruce.
bearway, Jenks (10/18/2009 7:16:56 PM)
Loki, It wasn't conservatives that lost their passion over deficits, it was Republicans and Democrats.
Royce, Tulsa (10/18/2009 7:37:11 PM)
Loki writes: "GOP: the party of NO answers" Democrats: The party of NO Patriots.
Loki, Broken Arrow (10/18/2009 8:02:25 PM)
Royce: I will nibble at the bait because it underscores a point. Democrat: Max Cleland, Vietnam Vet with service-connected triple amputation. The Rove-influenced campaign waged by Saxby Chambliss questioned Mr. Cleland's courage during a time of terrorists. Democrat: John Kerry (The one who actually went to Vietnam instead of Texas) was savaged by the Swiftboat organization (primarily funded by T. Boone Pickens).

Seems to be a lot of hot air in that balloon. There seems to be a lot of hot air on the ground too. Don't think the sheriff is laughing.
Companion, Sperry (10/18/2009 9:06:32 PM)
Don't worry, was it President Reagan that said "deficits don't matter." Makes two popular presidents[Reagan & Obama] that have the same precept and are from two different political parties, wow!
Companion, Sperry (10/18/2009 9:15:15 PM)
And Dubya deserves too be the most unpopular POTUS ever, world wide. And I helped his unpopularity. No more than a urban cowboy without spurs.
FUTURE WORLD, Tulsa (10/18/2009 9:32:06 PM)
Wouldn't it be nice to have a balloon to send all the Rush babies and Becknuts up, up, and away!
I Voted For Marvin, Don't Blame Me (10/19/2009 12:09:05 AM)
The kid is in the box, and the parents are in hot water.
FUTURE WORLD, Tulsa (10/19/2009 12:19:53 AM)
Soon the parents will also be in the box about 5'x9'.
