the only thing that makes this cartoon interesting is that obama would probably try to take credit for someone else finding the cure for the cancer...and the lying media would try to deceive the general public by reporting it giving undue recognition to the liar.

The error of the cartoon is ... It implies that if the bama ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING USEFUL, his opposition would downplay the significance. In reality, the bama HAS DONE NOTHING worth celebrating.

What really sucks is that Obama's attempts at getting much needed health care reform through legislation continues to be met by dumbfounded republican hardheads that have no interest in anything that doesn't add to the billions of dollars profitted by the private health care system. Nowadays it looks like the only thing they will agree on is continued sinful increases in our monthly premiums so that the poor people can afford health care. Shame on the stupid republicans for undermining the public option!

Plante- That's just dumb! Obama's Nobel Peace Prize is based on what accomplishments? He took office on Jan 20th and final nominations were due on Feb 1st.That's 12 days of doing what? Were right about one part, "Yeah....So What" Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize. This award to Obama not only diminishes the Nobel Peace Prize Committee but all those people who actually accomplished something. The funny part is this arrogant and egotistical President would probably accept a Nobel Peace Prize for wanting to cure cancer because of his good intensions.

Eventually the republican scum will bow down and admit defeat! Obama's proposed health care reforms have nothing to do with socialism. This is the land of the free. C'mon goofballs, rampant capitalism DOESN'T WORK. All it does is make the rich people richer, and the poor people poorer. Look what it did to our economy! And we are still suffering from the greed of so many capitalists and warmongers.

MarkG, You do know that anyone can be nominated, right? G.W. Bush was nominated for the Peace Prize for crying out loud. The award was not actually decided until recently--after Obama had managed to turn world opinion of America around in record time.
