Second only to Southern Baptists, you toy with a powerful religion. Walk softly henceforth, and keep up your guard!

Double Standards; seems to be the new behavior (or the old one that hasn't been caught)

The tooth fairy looks a bit small for Trimble.

wardog, Miami (10/9/2009 8:51:41 AM)
From the heart, stab in the back again. Is this what you live for, your gloom and doom? And this solves the schools cheating problem? Do you even know what we're talking about? You answer doesn't seem to state that fact. All it tells me and that your still hoping all of the worlds troubles are caused by the current president and this and only this will make you happy. Spread the Hate all day ' From the heart' What t title for you truly don't have a heart, you follow THE HATE MONGERS AND STAB OTHERS WHEN EVER YOU CAN. WHAT A HAPPY LIFE YOU MUST HAVE. Do you feel better this morning now that you've done you HATE DUTY? IF WEGO TO HEll WITH YOU WILL THAT MAKE THINGS COMPLETE FOR YOU? Its every morning those 'haters' like you shove you crud right into what could be a beautiful day...but oh no you wouldn't want that, THIS IS A LETTER ABOUT A SCHOOL CHEATING IN SPORTS AND YOU TRY AND CHANGE IT INTO YOUR CRUD. Stop TAKE IT SOMEPLACE ELSE!

I think From the Heart was referring to the Prez of OSSAA.

lucky girl, mine (10/9/2009 9:03:58 AM)
This whole thing has made Oklahoma look bad to everyone...I don't think that is funny

Nim, Jenks (10/9/2009 9:05:11 AM)
tfromtulsa, I am weary of your hatespeak so off you go to ignore land. FromTheHeart must already be there since I don't see his/her post. Your avatar rocks.....not.

I guess I don't understand all this. I never went to public school. What made the kid ineligible to play? I was thinking it was his grades....but he was recruited? Why can't his parents put him in any school they want to? Do you have to physically live in Jenks to go to Jenks? I know I sound like an idiot, but I really have no idea about all this.

JCash, (10/9/2009 9:40:25 AM)
Note to TW: Don't mess with the OSSAA. They might rule you ineligible...until they feel like you've had enough. The OSSAA is like every other governing body who received its power by voluntary submission. They will turn against those who empowered them. Jenks and Co. didn't offend on the field of play. They offended the mighty OSSAA! If the OSSAA doesn't crush the Jenks machine, harshly, their very existence is meaningless. Who needs 'em? Hey OSSAA...you're INELGIBLE! How's that taste?

Cooldaddy, Broken Arrow (10/9/2009 9:56:46 AM)
Does this tie into the Jenks deal?

tfromtulsa, Tulsa (10/9/2009 10:18:45 AM)
Nim - I'm crushed, as your opinion means so much to me.

coweta, (10/9/2009 10:22:55 AM)
beau3985, Yes you must live inside the public school district for whom you play for. This is mainly to keep students who live in a poorer area from simply choosing to go to school somewhere else. It keeps the student populations located around the schools which serve that area. With sports, it is designed to keep students from "loading up" a team with great athletes simply because they want to play on a better team.

Another affirmation of our State motto - "Whatever you can get away with!" (I'm not leaving a dime to several posters here when their teeth fall out.) :)

Royce, Tulsa (10/9/2009 11:00:16 AM)
Why is it that those folks who applaud this cartoon stand up and cheer when OU recruits a blue chip player, such as Adrian Peterson, from Texas?

2ndjoyce, BA (10/9/2009 11:07:19 AM)
ohmigosh, Royce. Basic fact to know before making another comment: The rules for high school are different from the rules for college.
