Hey, make room at the bar for a workin' man!

"Let's do lunch" isn't a phrase you're likely to hear Kerry Walsh utter. "Happy hour," however, is a different story.

The principal of Walsh, a full-service brand consultancy in Tulsa, isn't one to conduct business over chicken-fried steak. Cocktail napkins, though? Different story.

Here are his favorite places for doing a little work after 5.

Lola's at the Bowery, 5 E. Brady St.

"Perfect for serious and not-so-serious conservations," Walsh said. Works for the button-down business type or the T-shirt type, plus all in-between. It's also important to have your own table — which he has, thank you.

Hunt Club, 224 N. Main St.

"If you are into wild animals (and who isn't?), this is great for looser meetings," he said, alluding to the occasional mounted animal-head trophy on the walls. "This spot is an up-and-comer and a great addition to the Brady Arts District."

Biga , 4329 S. Peoria Ave.

The restaurant's Tom Rush has been Walsh's "personal bartender" for many years. "I get all my stock tips from him," he said. "Tuck and Kate make life there special."

Stonehorse Cafe , Utica Square

J.C., one of the bartenders, will do your financial spreadsheet for you, Walsh said. It's an upscale place for bigger business. "Wear flip-flops for a nice contrast."

Lucky's , 1536 E. 15th St.

Walsh loves visiting his friend Liz, the bartender, here. "She is a true professional and will lend a hand in any business deal."
