Isn't President Obama in Copenhagen carrying water for Mayor Daley and trying to get the Olympics for Chicago? And all that partying and lobbying while we are still at war? Oh well. Not to worry. We will be cutting and running from Afghanistan soon enough.

I remember being in middle school on the first "Earth Day" and being told we were all headed for global freezing. "The glaciers are coming, the glaciers are coming!" was the mantra of the leftist enviromental wackos along with images of us all living like Eskimoes on the equator. It was about then that the cooling trend ended and things began to warm. Fast forward a few decades and the same leftists are shouting "The deserts are coming, the deserts are coming!" "Global Warming will be the end of us all!" And what do you know, we now see that temperatures are begining to cool again. So, what to the enviro-nazi's now say? It's "Climate Change!" I guess that way when the temps change again they won't have to change their banners. It is all a ploy to find more ways to control the lives of people and create new taxes. Dusty, can you say "tyrants exploiting the earth's natural cycles?"

You know I'll be 63 in two weeks, been political since the 9th grade, never voted for a Democratic President (but I did vote for Perot and Paul) and never once did I hear about Global freezing. You just made that up. Nice job.

Actually Dusty in the 1970's the scientists were all saying how bad global cooling was. This is a scant 30-40 yrs ago. It got warmer. Now we are talking about global warming. I don't think even they know for sure.
