Deals on meals: Find restaurants that cater to families

Many parents keep a sharp eye out for restaurants that offer free meals for children, and now they have an extra resource.

The Web site Mr. Free Stuff ( tulsaworld.com/freestuff ) recently added a section called "101 Restaurants Where Kids Eat Free."

The list includes mostly national chains such as Golden Corral, T.G.I. Friday's, Chik-Fil-A, Denny's, Macaroni Grill, IHOP, Fuddruckers and Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as a few regional restaurants such as Indigo Joe's.

The site informs readers about eat-for-free specials on specific days of the week. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are the best days to find freebie offers at restaurants. On Friday, only 14 restaurants were found to offer free meals for kids.

The site also includes links to each restaurant's Web site, as well as information on other free samples, free products and sweepstakes contests.
