Good one, Bruce. Reconciliation appears to be our best option for getting the key component of health care reform passed--the public option. Most of the Republicans and blue dog Democrats like Baucus are "owned" by the insurance industry.

What is the difference between being owned by Big Insurance, Big Pharmacutical, Big oil, big unions, Big air, big banks, big investment companies, or big anything? Every politician, including the President, is "owned" by one or more of these groups. Which is worse and which is best, and why? Or is all this just more of the same old B.S., because my politician is best.

Aw Ayo, I'm fine with my line. It beats the heck out of the "I want the guvmint to give me free stuff and run my life for me" line. There are no swimming pools, beach condos, ski chalets, fine wine or luxury cars in that line. There is no 1st class health care in that line either.

I know the pharmaceutical companies are happy. They were happy with progress being made 3 months ago. That was when it was reported that no generic prescription drugs can be made for 12 years. That included drugs used for cancer treatment, Parkinson's disease, heart trouble all major health care issues that the elderly are more apt to have.
