gba, I agree with you. This cartoonist is clearly biased in favor of conservatives. He should attack Republicans once in a while. Caution: sarcasm was used in the writing of this comment.

Thank you Mr. Plante for doing what the majority of main stream media would not. What amuses me is how this is being considered a political partisan issue (peelumba & gba). Since when is corruption a liberal or conservative agenda? I know BR549 was a band, but what is the significance of the license plate. I’m sure I missed something there.

Corruption stinks doesn’t it? ACORN has long been known for its corruption especially in its voter registration drives and its community service projects but wow, willing to help start brothels of under age girls from El Salvador? If Plante wanted to really capture this latest revelation, the prostitute in the picture would be portrayed as El Salvadorian girl between ages 13-15. To think after these released tapes showing the corruption in each of the cities these young people investigated, seven (7) US Senators voted to continue funding ACORN. Those Senators being; Dick Durbin (D-IL), Roland Burris (D-IL) Robert Casey (D-PA) Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) Patrick Leahy (D-VT) Bernie Sanders (I-VT) Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) It will be interesting to see how many in the House will also support ACORN’s continued funding. Does anyone see a possible Chicago connection?

Sure ACORN has problems--name one large organization that doesn't. What should the reaction be? There should be an audit that looks at what ACORN has done well and what it has not done well. Try to improve if it is found to have more value than cost and problems. One of my concerns is that we have obviously only seen the tapes of the offices that had bad apples--how many were taped that nothing was awry? It reminds me of Leno's jaywalking--never show folks who know the right answers.

Maggie-Good question about how many ACORN offices were above board. I have the answer. According to the producers of the tapes all the offices that they investigated were corrupt. Every single one of them. P.S. There is more to come by the way.

Good post MarkG, you took the words right out of my mouth. TW would never allow Bruce Plante to accurately portray the prostitutes as being underage, that would paint a bad light on our "Community Organizer in Chief" who actually trained ACORN workers. The entire ACORN organization is corrupt to the core, just like the Obama administration!

ACORN was set up.These crooks tried this is other Acorn offices and were stopped.Not a cent was taken and nothing succeeded in the crooked plan.Foxx News and HATE radio are set up to make hard working people believe the poor people are robbing them blind when it is the extreme rich who really get away with it.The prostitution crime failed..Investment banker thievery is succeeding while Hate radio distracts us and fools well meaning politicians.As The World Burns Fox directs attention to poor people.

Polar Bear, you are delusional, and your grammar is atrocious, please get spell-check. Acorn has received over $50 Million tax payer dollars to run their criminal organization, this is a fact! We are paying for these Acorn advisor's to consult entrepreneurs on how to set up an underage prostitution ring, and you think this is OK? Your morals are as corrupt as all the Democrats in Washington, you need some help!

Peelumba- Larry Craig (Republican) does not belong in the Senate either. Corrupt politicians from either party should not be allowed to continue to serve. Let’s make a deal? Let’s agree to quit defending and making excuses for corrupt politicians within our respective political parties. What do you say Peelumba? Agree? Polar Bear- With all due respect you don’t know what your talking about. Had the ACORN workers had an ounce of character and honesty they would have thrown the two young people right out of their offices and not give them advice on how to break the law. This corruption within ACORN has nothing to do with helping poor people. This corruption is all about exploiting the condition of the poor not helping them for personal gain. You really need to rethink how defending corrupt organizations ends up harming the poor not helping them. There are lots of organizations that are honest and truly committed to helping people, ACORN just is not one of them and resembles a criminal enterprise more then a community action group helping people in need.
